Web Serial Monitor reads and sends data over a selected USB serial port. ESP32 Web Flasher writes firmware to a connected board. Both require a desktop browser with Web Serial support, a USB data cable and an explicit port permission prompt.

Check browser and hardware first
Use desktop Chrome or Edge for Web Serial. Close other programs holding the port, and confirm the board driver and cable if it does not appear. The flasher can erase data on the board, so check the target and offsets before writing.
Keep transformations inspectable
CRC results depend on polynomial and byte order. C arrays depend on pixel format and dimensions. Verify these settings against the display, firmware library or protocol specification you actually use.

Can I use Web Serial from my phone?
The supported workflow is a desktop Chromium browser such as Chrome or Edge. Most mobile browsers and Safari or Firefox do not provide Web Serial.
