What is ByteKiln?
ByteKiln is a collection of free, browser-based developer tools — formatters, converters, minifiers, and encoders — built for working developers who need fast, private utilities without signup walls and ad clutter.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Your JSON payloads, SQL queries, C# models, and JWT tokens never leave your device. No server processing, no logging, no analytics on your input.
About me
I'm a software developer working primarily with .NET Core, React, and embedded systems (Arduino / ESP32). The tools on this site solve problems I encounter daily in backend development, API integration, and database work.
ByteKiln started as a personal scratch pad — I kept needing to format JSON, decode JWTs, or convert C# models to SQL without pasting data into sketchy third-party sites. So I built the tools I actually wanted to use, and kept going.

Why "ByteKiln"?
A kiln transforms raw materials into something useful through heat and pressure. ByteKiln does the same for raw developer data — messy JSON, unformatted SQL, unreadable C# models — turning it into clean, usable output. The name felt right.
All tools are free, open to use, and run entirely in your browser.
